Category 6+ 550MHz Outside Plant (OSP) unshielded Cat6 cable is designed for outdoor voice, data, video, and security communications applications or in situations where the NEC code requires an OSP-rated cable when it is in contact with earth or moisture, whether in a conduit or not. The cable pairs are surrounded by gel that cleans easily by dry wiping cloth or paper towel. The outer jacket is sunlight and abrasion resistant black polyethylene.
